McGOOHAN'S ITV HAT-TRICK

With ITV celebrating it's 50th Birthday this year, a new series on Sunday evenings on the channel began on Sunday June 26th. "The Story of ITV - the people's channel", presented by Lord Melvin Bragg, moved onto the genre of Drama series on Sunday 3rd July 2005, including a 15-minute section on "Action and Adventure" series'.

No less than 3 Patrick McGoohan works were included in this sequence. Clips from both "Danger Man" and "The Prisoner" were shown, as well as a clip from McGoohan's 1956 appearance in "The Adventures of Sir Lancelot" (the full version of which can be seen at PM2005). Contributors to the show included writer and PM2005 guest Rob Fairclough, Pop-co's Jaz Wiseman, and Henry Holland (who recently arranged the Prisoner Scripts Launch Party).
