PRISONER STUNTMAN DIES

It is with much sadness that we announce that Alf Joint, "Danger Man" and "Prisoner" stuntman and Actor, sadly passed away on July 25th 2005. He was 78.

Best known to readers of this website as the Mechanic in the episode "Free For All", Alf was one of the world's most famous stuntmen. He appeared in countless movie blockbusters, including "A Bridge Too Far", "Return of the Jedi", "Goldfinger", "On Her Majesty's Secret Service", and "Where Eagles Dare". An accomplished fencemaster and actor, he also appeared in the TV series' "The Avengers", and "The Adventures of Sherlock Holmes" as well as the above-mentioned McGoohan series'. He is also fondly remembered for his work as the mysterious "Milk Tray Man" in the famous 1970s Television adverts.
