COLISEUM SAVED

The Coliseum Cinema in Porthmadog, North Wales, has its future assured following a campaign to attract locals to use the facility following a downturn in takings in recent years. The cinema, built in 1931, has relevance to Prisoner fans as it was where the rushes of the original location filming were shown to the crew in 1966, and also where the world premiere of the episode "Arrival" was screened.
