THIRTY-EIGHT FOR SIX

"The Prisoner" appeared in yet another TV poll on Saturday 3rd March 2007, when it secured 38th place in Channel 4's "50 Greatest Dramas" poll.

Clips from the series (mostly from "Arrival") were shown, and the actor who played the second Number Two in the episode (friend of The Unmutual George Baker, left) was amongst those who gave their views on the series.

Also interviewed was TV critic Marina Hyde who, sadly, did not appear to have seen the series (commenting that the Number Twos "end up dead at the end of most episodes").

The poll, narrated by actress Miriam Margolyes, was topped by "The Sopranos", with "Boys from the Black Stuff" second, and "Edge of Darkness" third.
