RUNWAY CONCLUSION?

One of the most fascinating location discussions over the years has been the famous runway, seen at the start of each episode.

For many years it was thought to be Hethel Lotus track in Norfolk, and more recently Radlett Airfield in Hertfordshire. However, after extensive research from Anthony McKay of Avengerland and the members of the Brit Movie forum, it now seems without doubt that the location was the Poddington raceway (AKA Santa Pod, left), first muted by fan Natasha Neal several years ago and "confirmed" by Gino Marotta in 1993.
