FANS CALL FOR RAFFERTY RELEASE

Patrick McGoohan is of course, with regards to Television series, best remembered for "The Prisoner", "Danger Man", and "Columbo".

However, another series he worked on extensively was "Rafferty". Produced in 1977 it has been described as a precursor to the highly successful TV series "House" and starred McGoohan as the cantakerous title character. Whilst McGoohan himself did not appear to remember the series too fondly, 34 years on, fans of McGoohan's work are campaigning for it to receive a DVD release following a resurgence in the series appearing in clip form online and elsewhere.

Colony 3 is a privately run online discussion forum and members are asking fans to contact copyright owners Warner Brothers to ask for a release. Stated one member; "go to the wb official site, scroll down to bottom of page and on left will be customer service, where you can leave a detailed message. I was told that corporate makes the final choice as to what is available but they did say that all messages are forwarded to corporate and that if there was enough interest it would get their attention."

The Unmutual Website would like to support this 'campaign' and feels that all McGoohan's work should be available through legitimately obtainable means. Fans wishing to see this release can also visit http://www.tvshowsondvd.com and vote for it!
