SHEILA ALLEN 1932-2011

For the second time in as many weeks, The Unmutual Website has sad news to report. Following the sad news regarding George Baker (below), Sheila Allen (who played Number 14 in "A, B, and C") has also passed away. She was 78.

Primarily a theatre actress, she was a stalwart of the Royal Shakespeare Company throughout her career, she also taught acting to a high standard and will also be fondly remembered for her role in the ITV series "Bouquet of Barbed Wire" as well as films such as "Children of the Damned".

It is, however, as her role as the charming yet determined Number Fourteen in "A, B, and C" that readers of TUW will best remember her. TUW extends its sincerest sympathies to her family and friends. A full obituary from The Guardian can be read HERE.
