MORE SAD NEWS

October 2011 will undoubtably go down in history as one of the saddest months for "Prisoner" fans and news has emerged that two more people have sadly passed away this past week.

Tony Reeve was a much loved and respected cartoonist and "Prisoner" fan, who worked for publications such as "Punch" and "The Spectator", and in the 1980s through his "P Nuts" creations ("Prisoner" cartoons which resembled Peanuts strips, left) entered cult folklore.

A regular attendee of Portmeirion Conventions at that time he was a much-loved fan. He died on 30th October 2011 after a long illness.

Peter Jones was one of the first active fans in "Prisoner" fandom in the late 1970s and 1980s and sadly also passed away on October 26th.

The Unmutual Website offers its sincere sympathies to both men's family and friends. A tribute from Tony's friend Geoff Notkin can be seen HERE, and a photo-illustrated tribute to Peter from his friend Peter Preston can be seen http://www.theunmutual.co.uk/peterjones.htm.
