HIGH TIME FOR HIGH TIDE
Exciting
news for fans of the film work of Patrick McGoohan has arrived at Unmutual
Towers this month, with the announcement that the 1957 movie, 'High
Tide at Noon', one of McGoohan's earliest screen appearances, is to
be released on DVD for the first time.
The romantic thriller, nominated for a Cannes Film Festival award that year, also starred Betta St John, William Sylvester, and Michael Craig, and was one of the movies which McGoohan made during the period in the late 1950s when he was contracted to the Rank Organisation.
