The Unmutual Photo Report: April 2019 The Prisoner Danger Man tours

Review by Rick Davy. Photos: Rick Davy, Tracey Stevens.

April 14th 2019 saw the latest of Dave Lally's unrivalled and very enjoyable 'Danger Man' and 'The Prisoner' location tours. Free to attend, Dave Lally has been conducting these tours for well over 30 years, and this occasion was just as enjoyable as several dozen fans of both series, from around the World including an intrepid visitor from the USA, joined Dave for a tour of locations.

The morning tour saw a visit to locations featured in the Patrick McGoohan secret agent series 'Danger Man', including John Drake's home, the opening title sequence location, and locations from several episodes.

As a bonus, the tour also went passed a film crew, filing for the next 'Kingsmen' film. Obviously for a 1920s 'flashback' sequence, a London building was re-dressed as the American embassy. The crew was a splinter unit (so not even 2nd unit).

The afternoon tour features visits to many locations related to 'The Prisoner' series, including the opening title sequence (including private access to the now not-in-use resignation corridor).

It was delightful to be joined on this tour by John and his Caterham 7 car, which kept popping up at the locations throughout the tour.

The tour also includes locations from 'Many Happy Returns', 'Fall Out', and 'Do Not Forsake'.

The tour concludes at Number Six's London home.

Overall a great day was had, and there was an optional post-walk pizza and chat afterwards. Massive thanks to Dave, Jon for his 7, and everyone who attended.
