PETER BOWLES R.I.P.
TUW is sad to report that Peter Bowles has passed away after a battle with cancer.
Peter will be best remembered by TUW readers as 'A' in the episode 'A. B. and C.', and his earlier appearance in 'Danger Man'.
A legend of stage and screen, Peter transitioned beautifully from dramatic roles - including several ITC and Cult TV shows - into comedy (with series such as 'To The Manor Born' and 'Only When I Laugh' fondly remembered today), and back again (including a memorable stint on BBC's 'Holby City' in recent years).
TUW's thoughts are with Peter's family and friends at this sad time. May he R.I.P.
