SIGN OF THE TIMES

The Unmutual Website was delighted recently to hear from Andrew T Finney regarding a wonderful labour of love he has created.

One of the most iconic visuals in The Prisoner series are the wonderful Village signs, and Andrew has created wonderful replicas (left).

Writes Andrew: "Back in 2020 I researched and compiled drawings of all the free standing signposts contained in the Prisoner series and committed them to CAD drawings. Having already built and painted a very rare 1/6th scale Patrick McGoohan resin kit, I wanted some other prop(s) to accompany him/it. Having scaled the dimensions from the known height of the actor, I could then determine the actual sizes of the posts, canopies and hanging signs."

The models in the photo image are made from the following:-
Signpost - Base Plasticard, Post cardboard, Signs and hood Plasticard and chains/hooks metal wire.
The Prisoner and base - Resin cast by Killer Kits. Currently unavailable.
Rover - Polystyrene flower arranging ball.
Finally, Doorway cardboard. This also is like the signpost scaled and CAD drawn by myself. (Possible future drawing submission?) Note that the doorway is slightly under scale to No.6 as it is printed from A4 paper and A3 card.
