ANYONE FOR PIZZA?
Visitors
to Portmeirion in the 1970s will recall that what now is the left-hand side
of The Ship Shop used to be an Italian restaurant. Soon we could all be enjoying
such cuisine again in the village as planning permission is being sought by
Portmeirion for the garages behind the Triumphal Arch (left) to be turned
into a Pizzeria. Should the request be successful, work will begin in March
2006 for completion later that year.
