16/4/08 The Daily Mail reports The Prisoner re-make is currently filming in Libya, with McGoohan and Ian McKellen in cameo roles (Jim Caviezel cast as Number Six, Bill Gallacher still writing).

25/1/08....TV personality Sian Lloyd gets married in Portmeirion - BBC news story, which is covered in the current "Hello" Magazine. Mike Scobie, who helped build props for The Prisoner, has died at the age of 66.
