PORTMEIRION TV FEST

Portmeirion has had been on TV twice in the past month in the UK, with a further appearance to follow on BBC2 Wales on December 8th 2008.

The first recent screening was the light-hearted "Doug Strong's Special Places" (ITV Wales, October 30th), which can be viewed online HERE.

Also recently screened was the CBeebies show "Captain Adorable" (part of the "Gigglebox" series of children's comedy items).

The whole 10 minute story was filmed in Portmeirion, primarily inside Hercules Hall and around the gloriette. There were also other shots of Captain Adorable (Justin Fletcher, left) running around the village and on the beach.

On December 8th, BBC2W will play host to "Hidden Histories" where the original Castell Deudraeth will be explored.
