SEVEN MAKES TV TOP TWENTY

Christmas Eve 2004 marked yet another occasion when The Prisoner featured in a TV poll, with The Prisoner's Lotus Seven finishing in 17th place in SKY One's "TV's Greatest Cars" countdown. The 2-hour show included a 2-3 minute feature on the series which included comments by car-mad Supermodel Jodie Kidd, comedian Rowland Rivron, TV car-experts Tiff Needell and James May and former Lotus Director Graham Nearn. Several clips from the series were intercut between the comments, the most bizarre of which was a claim that KAR 120C was built by McGoohan himself.

The poll was unsurprisingly won by The Dukes of Hazard's Dodge Charger "The General Lee", with Knight Rider's "Kit" finishing second, and Starsky and Hutch's Torino finishing third.
