ALL THE WORLD'S A STAG

Exciting news for aficionados of landmarks and locations seen in "The Prisoner"! Edward Bainbridge Copnall's statue, "The Stag", stood for many years in Stag Place in London. It can be seen in the "Prisoner" episode "Many Happy Returns" as Number Six walks back to his London home, shortly before meeting Mrs Butterworth.

In 1997, Stag Place was redeveloped and the statue removed. However, we have since learned that the statue now has a new home - the Lockmeadow Centre in Maidstone, Kent. For more information and images, click HERE.
