Saturday 23rd July 2022
Summer Picnic!
'Colony Three' Locations Visit - last chance before demolition!

South Hatfield is the location for many of the locations seen as the fictional 'Hampden new Town' in the Prisoneresque 'Danger Man' episode 'Colony Three' and Dave Lally is organising a visit to the location. Writes Dave: "Meet at Queensbury (NOT Queensway) Tube Station (Jubilee Line) 1100 for 1130. We, there, catch an all-in fare, for all buses on the day, bus to Hatfield: approx £5 each or if 4 people then £17 for all 4: ie £4.25 each. Watch out for Penny-Farthing logo. We go down to the Hamden New Town location (being demolished in 2022/2023 so this is last chance to visit) where we will stop for a picnic (please bring own food!), and also pop to Hatfield Old Town for pub seen in episode". If people wish to go straight to the Hatfield area and not meet for the bus journey, please send an email HERE and contact details for Dave can be shared.
