MAY 2024 PRISONER LOCATIONS WEEKEND

A weekend of activities organised by Dave Lally.

Friday May 17th 2024
Prisoner fans social pub meet-up
7.30pm-Close

Upstairs in comfy seats (if open): Crown, NEW Oxford St (southside: opp Giotto Restaurant) WC1A 1BL. If upstairs closed, then downstairs therein. If that pub itself is closed, then the nearby Bloomsbury Tavern, WC2H 8EG. Both usually do hot food (as well as real craft ale). Tube: Tottenham Court Road.

Saturday May 18th 2024
Borehamwood Film/TV locations walkabout tour

Meeting at 11.30am at ticket barriers of Elstree and Borehamwood Rail Station, a whistle-stop walking tour of Film and TV heritage sites in the area, including several locations from the 'The Prisoner' episode 'The Girl Who Was Death'. Other events may be organised for later in the day so keep an eye on updates here.

Sunday May 19th 2024 (morning)
"Danger Man" London locations walkabout tour

Meeting at Victoria British Rail Station (outside the Burger King near to Platforms 1-7) at 10.30am. Have a Travelcard valid for at least Zones 1 and 2, as two bus trips are required during the tour, and the tour visits;
(1) Danger Man opening location site ("every government has its secret service branch...."),
(2) Danger Man - home of John Drake.
(3) Several other locations from the 'Danger Man' episodes 'Fair Exchange' and 'Don't Nail Him Yet'.
4) Several other buildings with Prisoner, Portmeirion, and Cult TV connections (such as Simon Templar's home from 'Return of the Saint').
Event is free to attend other than your travelcard. No need to book, just turn up.

After a brief stop for refreshments it's then on to.......

Sunday May 19th 2024 (afternoon)
"The Prisoner" London locations walkabout tour

The 2nd of 2022's twice-yearly London locations walking tours. Commences at 2.15pm underneath Marble Arch and continues on foot for approx 3.5 miles taking in over 20 different "Prisoner" locations, including the resignation corridor, underground car park, and other locations from the opening sequence, "Many Happy Returns", "Do Not Forsake" and "Fall Out", culminating in Number Six's London home. Free to attend. Optional visit to nearby Pizza Express then follows at approx 5.30pm. Event goes ahead regardless of weather so come prepared. Any queries, click HERE and send an email. PLEASE NOTE: The Prisoner Mind Mash is a bi-annual event organised by Leslie Glen, independent of The Unmutual Website. Dave Lally's tour events are run by him and not by The Unmutual Website.
None of the above tour events requires any fee to attend unless stated (other than your own pay-as-you-go expenses such as travel or food), nor membership of any group or club.
